Marissa participated in the BMS Talent Show 2008 on Wednesday. I just can’t get over the urge to cry when I’m impressed with my kids! Marissa first made a Cheese Cake with two other girls in the talent show. They did it kinda like a cooking show. The had a pie ready to give to the judges to try. It was very cute.

There was some finger licking going on, but that just made people smile.
Next Marissa got up on that stage all by herself and hooped. She made up her own routine to Walk Away sung on her
CD.
I’ve seen her hoop. She pretty much does her thing and then it’s over, but here in front of her school mates and their families, she danced. It’s the first time I’ve ever seen her dance while hooping.
It’s not the whole song. I had to watch her without a camera lens.
I need to send a special thanks to Meghan for teaching and inspiring Marissa to try hooping. And another special thanks to Uncle Nick for making her hoop.
During intermission we got to check out he dragons the sixth grade had made. Looks like a fun activity.
